Over the years I've found quite a few Oz fans are also fans of the Freddy the Pig series by Walter R. Brooks.Well, this coming weekend the Friends of Freddy are having a weekend long convention at University of California - Fresno at the Arne Nixon Center. The Oz Club held a similar Oz conference there last year.
